What is CBT?
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is a structured, evidence-based form of psychotherapy that helps patients identify and change negative thoughts, beliefs, and behaviours. By learning to reframe negative thinking patterns and adopt long-term coping strategies, patients can reduce symptoms of anxiety, depression, stress, and other mental health challenges.
Clinical trials have repeatedly shown that CBT can be as effective as certain medications for many mental health conditions, particularly depression and anxiety. Through CBT, our doctors and psychotherapist empower patients to understand their mental health at a deeper level and be able to channel their thoughts in a healthy manner.

What to Expect
Throughout your first two visits, we spend a full hour to collect information on your background, mental health challenges, current symptoms, and treatment goals and we form a collaborative treatment plan.
During your follow up visits, we explore your personal progress with your treatment plan and checkmark goals and milestones together along the way.
